How long does the snow last in hot weather?

Just like natural snow it may start to melt at 32 degrees or warmer. It may last a minimum of several hours or even to the following day depending on weather conditions, thickness and volume of snow plus the number of children slushing through it can vary the time that your snow will last.

 

How much snow can I buy?

Where can you blow the snow?

We can not drive our equipment off of paved areas because of the risk of becoming stuck on sometimes wet areas of grass or mud. If you insist that we do so, then you will be responsible for payment of the wrecker.

Are there any dangers?

Yes! Snowball throwing should remain below the shoulders!! Also ice can become slippery, which is why you will be asked to sign a "Hold Harmless" for Party Ice Company. We are only responsible for blowing snow. It is up to you to take all necessary precautions as listed in our "Snow Rules".

How much snow do I need?

The thicker you want the snow the less area it will cover. However, the thinner you blow the snow, the larger area it will cover and the faster it will melt. It's best to measure out the size area you would like to cover and to get an idea of how many will be playing in the snow. Does it seem like enough area?

Does Party Ice travel to locations outside of their area?

Yes! Depending on the cost of delivery.

 

What if it rains?

Party Ice cannot control the weather. In the event that it does rain, you should have in mind an optional place that would be covered. For instance, a large tent or a carport where the snow can be blown. If you should wish to rescheduled, you should do so at least 24 hours in advance.

Are deposits refunded if I should cancel?

Deposits are not refunded. You may reschedule to a different time when someone else is not scheduled.

Is there a sales tax?

Yes! It is required by law.

 

Does Party Ice offer discounts?

Our prices are kept as low as they can be kept with our experienced personnel and equipment, therefore we do not offer discounts.

 

 

Does the snow hurt the grass?

Party Ice has never found this to be a problem. Remember, this is just frozen water. The water actually helps the grass because as it is melting...it is watering your lawn.
